Natural Draggin' Shirt

For an extra cool summer ride try out our Kevlar® Draggin' Shirt. Fast Company’s Draggin’ Shirt is one tough shirt! Made of 100% Kevlar®, the Draggin’ Shirt utilizes this highly abrasion resistant material to add an extra layer of protection, yet is still comfortable and breathable.

The unique mesh knit allows for excellent air flow ventilation in the hot months, while it layers well in the winter to provide added insulation.

While everyone knows that armored leather is the best safety garment you can wear, we all know someone who is guilty of wearing just a t-shirt in the hottest summer months. The Draggin’ Shirt can easily slip over your t-shirt to give you some excellent abrasion protection.

The Draggin’ Shirt boasts a longer cut in the length and arms to accommodate the riding position for men and women. This high tech shirt also incorporates Velcro® tabs to adjust the cuffs thereby preventing riding up and flapping in the wind. Most importantly the Draggin’ Shirt has two layers of Kevlar® in the shoulders and elbows.

Each Draggin’ Shirt is handmade in the USA! The natural color of Kevlar® is canary yellow. Once it is exposed to sunlight it will deepen to a goldenrod shade. Slight variation in color (as well as the color change) is not only normal, but to be expected.

    Have been wearing the natural color shirt for a year now. It is great in the Texas heat. Wearing a black leather vest over it, the kids call me Bumble Bee. LOL One of the reasons I got it was visibility so wish it would stay bright yellow. Will be ordering another one anyway.

    Bought the shirt for my son that competes in luge. Last year before I bought the shirt he received some serious ice/road rash on his shoulders and forearms. It is amazing the damage ice can do at 75 mph. This year he still is getting some rash from crashes but not as bad. The shirt seems fairly effective when layered with speed suit, Kevlar shirt and then another insulating layer. While it definitely helps I wouldn't want to crash on ice or pavement with only the Kevlar shirt.

    I just successfully "tested" this product. 40 mph, over the handle bars, crash landing in the street. Shirt ripped a tiny bit (1/4" hole) and the rest held up. A hand dragging behind me was gloveless and looks like something from fright-night. I had some arm abrasions from rubbing against the kelvar shirt, but those healed in just a few days. The hand will need plastic surgery. Thanks Draggin Jeans. Let me know when you produce a kelvar motorcycle cozy.

    Shirt is great, but the pads that attach the inside of the shirt with velcro seems a little sketchy to me.

    Great shirt. I ordered a size larger than my shirt size based on others feedback, and it's still a little tight. Looks great. The armor attachments however, I will likely be returning. I thought it was absolutely absurd that they are to attach to the outside of the shirt with just a couple little pieces of velcro tape. I understand that this has obviously been researched, and may work just fine, however I don't feel like taking the chance. I even bought extra velcro, covering the entire pad, and it's still a little sketchy as to whether they will stick (and stay) or not. They would probably stay in place in a wreck if worn under a jacket, provided they don't get ripped off while putting the jacket on. Not to mention that they would look ridiculous if you were the type of person to just wear the shirt and no jacket. Just can't see them staying in place... Be nice to see a pouch or better method of attachment. I will likely end up getting an armored jacket, or keeping the (high quality) shirt armor pads if it works with a Draggin leather jacket. {Edited by admin: The armor is designed to go inside the shirt, not the outside. The Velcro "stickers" should be stuck to the outside of the armor and then the Velcro attaches to the Kevlar on the inside of the shirt.}
