Covering your ass!®
These jeans are a modified version of our Relaxed fit, tailored specifically for “big men.” The Blue Big Men’s Draggin’® Jeans have a classic straight leg with the traditional five pocket design. We also incorporate the change pocket on the left side for ease of use on your bike.
We use 14.5 ounce denim and a protective lining made with 13.5 ounce DuPont™ KEVLAR® fiber. The protective lining extends from just below the belt loops to, well, just below your ass. It extends vertically from hip seam to hip seam. We cover your knees as well with protection that wraps around to cover the front and outside of the knee and shin.
Each pair of Draggin’® Jeans is handmade in the USA! They are pre-washed and pre-shrunk. We cut our jeans exactly true to size, so we recommend measuring a pair of your own jeans to get the right fit.
Available in Blue.
First off the jeans seem good quality, of course I couldn't wear them because they sent wrong size and I have to pay to send there mislabeled jeans back. If I screwed up measurements or ordered the wrong size I would have no problem paying to send them back. The size I ordered was on the paper tag on the waist and on the sticker on the jeans, but the white take inside was a larger size and matched the measurement with a tape measure. You got my credit card info, why can't you authorize price of another pair send them out with a prepaid return shipping bag and if you don't get the return in a specific time let the charge go through. So I waited a week for the first shipment now have to find time to make it to the post office. There is a week or more shipping back, then wait another week for you to do your thing and ship the right pair back.
DRAGGIN: We apologized to Michael for the error. Unfortunately the jeans were mislabeled as he has mentioned. We did send his replacement pair at no extra cost to him, and added a free t-shirt worth $30 as compensation for the cost of mailing the original jeans back to us. We're sorry he wasn't happy with the service we provided. We pride ourselves on doing all we can to help our customers get exactly what they want. Which is why we continue to make our Big Men's jeans - most brand ignore the needs of bigger riders. We do not. We hope Michael is enjoying riding in his jeans and never has cause to their superior protective qualities. Micheal Crawford Beaverton, Oregon on 28th Nov 2016
I always have 2 pair available! They are comfortable & they do work for sliding. I know from experience! Of course they don't do much for impact because there is no armor but if you want that buy another. These were not made for that. Also good for a little warmth in cooler weather. I like them so far after wearing 5 or 6 times. They're pretty heavy, weight wise, but not to bad. I think the price is a little high but I'll probably get another pair next spring. MikeJ on 29th Oct 2016
I love them! Very comfortable, true to size, I feel much safer wearing them.
The only thing I did not like was not having build in adjustable pockets for the armor. I don't like the Velcro method. Tom on 15th Sep 2016
Being a big guy, it's not easy finding motorcycle clothes that aren't Harley related or hi viz for the touring crowd. These look like normal jeans with some reinforced areas. They are a bit high waisted for my liking, but not a deal breaker. The Kevlar is very soft so it doesn't irritate the skin. My only issue is that there are no pockets for the armor they offer. They give you some Velcro discs (about 1.25") to stick on the knee and hip pads, then the Velcro attaches to the Kevlar. It doesn't seem very secure, so I used some ripstop material to make pockets. I crudely stitched them around the pad on the inside surface of the Kevlar, leaving the top open for removal. It's been holding up for about 2 months now. It also puts a layer of cloth between your knee and the pad, so when you sweat it won't stick.
Overall, they are good jeans. True fit, well made (except the label on the right rear. Cheap and coming loose). I would/have recommend them to friends. Eli on 6th Sep 2016
Recently rear ended by a F150. I went up and over the truck and slid to a stop. I recommend adding loops at the bottom to keep them from riding up my legs . I have burns on both my lower legs. My upper legs and butt ox area are just bruised. My jacket rode up and over my head in the slide leaving a pretty clear line of were the jeans ended and the damage beings.
Please Make larger shirts. I would have bought one. This is my 2nd pair of jeans and I only took a star away due to my first pair tag saying made in America and my 2nd pair's tag saying Mexico. Ryan on 7th Jul 2016
Also only pair of riding jeans i own. These are great for quick rides when you don't have time to fully suit up. They do offer armor to put in the jeans but I am not currently using it because the foam sits on your skin and gets hot quick. The style is acceptable a little bit like mom jeans but its safer that way for riding. Overall totally satisfied with the quality and product. I have bought two pairs. Al on 22nd Jun 2016
I love these jeans folks, I found another large guy size jean on a competing site and tried them. No luck, twice the price and did not fit nearly as well. If you have a butt these are the jeans for you, apparently everyone else thinks guys don't have butts. Draggin' you have a customer for life here! Martin B on 21st Jun 2016
The jeans fit very well, size was an excellent match to my normal jeans. The Kevlar layer is thick and matches high need area. I was impressed by the workmanship for the cost. Not sure on the armor attachment of velcro but will see how it stays in place after a few more trips. Overall a good purchase. Unknown on 26th May 2016
I ordered 50in waist jeans with the hip and knee armor. What I got were ordinary looking jeans with a funky flannel looking liner and four small plastic pieces and some Velcro dots. No instructions. Was expecting sewn in pockets got the extra $75 I paid for the armor. This makes me wonder if the jeans are rash resistant at all. I feel taken.
DRAGGIN: Unfortunately this reviewer didn't leave their contact details or we would have contacted them directly. To address his points: The liner we use in our jeans is a 13 ounce knit Kevlar. It looks and feels like Terry Cloth. But it is tough, and has been tested over and over again by riders all over the world. It may look a little 'funky' if you're expecting something hard, but it does a great job protecting against abrasion. In regard to the armor, we provide our armor pieces with industrial velcro tabs and instructions for their use. It is possible that this customer may have overlooked the instructions. The velcro tabs attach to the armor pieces and then 'hook' directly to the loops of the knitted Kevlar. It's a simple method that allows riders to place the pieces exactly where they want them and take them out for washing. We're disappointed that this customer feels taken as we do all we can to provide good quality, American made protection to riders of all sizes at a very competitive price. Unknown on 18th May 2016
