A classic American denim jacket tailored with the motorcyclist in mind, the Draggin'® Jacket provides an affordable, fashionable alternative to hot, uncomfortable leather. Made with rigid American 14.5oz denim and lined through the arm, across the shoulders and down the back with 13.5 ounce DuPont™ Kevlar® aramid fiber it offers superior protection and comfort. It's also loaded with extra features:
For addition impact protection, our CE-approved Armor can be easily added at back, shoulder and elbow.
A NOTE ON SIZE: MOST RIDERS FIND THEY NEED TO GO UP A SIZE IN OUR JACKETS. SO IF YOU USUALLY WEAR A SIZE XL, THEN YOU SHOULD ORDER A XXL.
Each Draggin’® Jacket is pre-washed, pre-shrunk and handmade in the USA!
For me, the sleeve opening is way to big. I ordered an extra large. My body type is the type where a large fits my body but sleeves are always short. But an X-large usually fits in the sleeves but is big in the body area. This jacket fits me like a large size, so like other reviews have said and Draggin pointed out, order a size up. My complaint, but its always the same complaint for me is the sleeves could be about 2 inches longer so they dont creep up when reaching for the bars and close up the sleeves a little bit. Maybe put zippers on the sleeve closure. I dont like bees going up my sleeves. I added my own extra button to help alleviate this. Other than that, I do like this jacket and will get lots of use out of it once it warms up just a little bit more. Stephen Nelson on 26th Apr 2019
Love the jacket but doesn't fit. If your a big guy it runs smaller then the HD gear. Gave the jacket to a friend. Might try to order again in larger size. To be fair I returned the HD jean jacket to for being small. Most HD jackets in my size fits fine. Jerrod Gates on 25th Apr 2019
One size larger definitely a good idea (especially w/ the armor inserted). Unknown on 23rd Apr 2019
Had seen this listed and figured I'd get one. Prefer denim over heavy leather.
And the Kevlar was a huge factor. My complaints are few. But the length is short. Barely reaches my belt. Would appreciate something with at least a longer tail that keeps the lower back pprotectd from the wind. And the sleeves would be better if they had some way to adjust the tightness to the wrist. Direct wind will blow right up the sleeves without gauntlet gloves. I appreciate the amount and location of pockets. And it fits great and thensize chart is accurate. Bill on 20th Apr 2019
This is the third garment I have purchased and I continue to be impressed. Normally when you see made in the USA you expect to pay more, not with Draggin. Much less expensive than other brands and twice the quality.
The jacket is exactly as described, listen to their advice about ordering one size up from your normal size, it’s good advice! I had trouble ordering on the website so I called. A real person answered on the first ring and had my order placed in no time, excellent customer service!
My only complaint, the relaxed fit 100% cotton jeans I bought 10 years ago are wearing out and they don’t make them anymore! They are the BEST riding jeans I’ve ever owned, I’ll be sad when I have to retire them.
Stop wondering if you should buy from Draggin; take the plunge, you’ll never go back to anything else, promise! Steve Peterson on 19th Apr 2019
I was searching the internet for a denim motorcycle jacket and I came across dragginjeans.com. I called and spoke with a representative he was very nice, and I placed my order. The order arrived very fast. I was very impressed with all the features of this item. I wore it for the first time on my ride on 04/10/19, and again I was impressed with the comfort of this item. I am 6’4” and I weigh 230lbs. I ordered a 2xl and it fits me fine.
I let my buddy try it in on that same day and his words were “ Wow this thing is heavy duty.” He also liked the multiple inside pockets and the armor plates. In my opinion, this denim jacket is far superior than just a regular denim jacket since this one is designed with the motorcycle rider in mind.
If I had to make one suggestion, it would be to come up with a design that would tighten up the sleeves at the wrist and maybe zippered pockets. Other than that I’m happy..

The jacket received is exactly what I wanted and appeared to be well made. However, the it is much smaller than anticipated. I have many other motorcycle and other coats and normally wear a XXXL which has plenty of room. My MC leather jacket is a XXXL and I can wear a sweatshirt underneathe and since it was suggested to go up a size I went up two and ordered a 5X, it was smaller than any of my 3X jackets. The jeans I ordered fit well and were my second pair and excellent qualit.
DRAGGIN: We're sorry the jacket didn't fit you as you had hoped. Unfortunately when it comes to larger sizes there are no general rules for sizing. Which is why we include a sizing chart on our product pages with exact measurements for guidance. We will happily return the jacket for a refund. Glad you like your jeans! Ride safe. Very good quality jacket and excellent service from Draggin which promptly called me back after leaving a message on the weekend. I'm 6'2" 190 lbs (44) 'Size: Large' is good fit and has long enough sleeves. The jacket is comfortable for wearing both on and off the bike. You will need extra long gauntlets for winter riding since the jacket doesn't have proper motorcycle sleeve closures. The jacket has several interior pockets, but would appreciate if the jacket had zippered lower exterior pockets.
You have a winner here Draggin Jeans. Preacher on 30th Jan 2019
It’s perfect for those summer days when leather is too ot to wear. I used the sizing chart but the product will still be slightly smaller than what is recommended. If your size is on the boarder line between sizes, go with the next size up. Craig Brubaker on 21st Dec 2018
While this is a NICE jacket, with the requisite kevlar lining, it seems the company is not providing true size specs. This has happened in the past and I should've learned my lesson but I really liked the styling of this jacket. I am still undecided about it though and whether or not I should sell it off. But since I am trying to lose some weight, maybe it will fit better in the spring when I will be riding more. Mike Collier on 17th Oct 2018
