Covering your ass!®
The Blue Women's Retro Fit Draggin’® Jeans in have a straight leg boot cut with the five pocket design. This style has a traditional natural rise waist. We added a higher rise in the back to accommodate the riding position. The Retro Fit has a slightly relaxed cut through the hips and thighs for a comfortable fit. We also incorporate the change pocket on the left side for ease of use on your bike.
We use 14.5 ounce denim and a protective lining made with 13.5 ounce DuPont™ KEVLAR® aramid fiber. The protective lining extends from just below the belt loops to, well, just below your ass. It extends vertically from hip seam to hip seam. We cover your knees as well with protection that wraps around to cover the front and outside of the knee and shin.
Each pair of Draggin’® Jeans is handmade in the USA! They are pre-washed and pre-shrunk. We cut our jeans exactly true to size, so we recommend measuring a pair of your own jeans to get the right fit.
PLEASE NOTE: The Retro Fit Draggin'® Jeans DO NOT HAVE POCKETS FOR ARMOR. Armor can be added directly to the knitted lining with the use of provided industrial velcro tabs. If you would like jeans with armor pockets in them, please consider our new COMFORT jeans. The Retro Fit Draggin'® Jeans are finished at a 34" inseam. These can be hemmed to fit.
love the fit since it covers my butt crack even when sitting down. And I especially love the long length - see some comments from short women about them being too long, but you can always get them hemmed, and I cannot grow any more material so.....
Now if you would just offer it in a black color I would buy a second pair. Unknown on 30th Apr 2019
These are the most comfortable riding jeans I have ever owned. The only "down side" is that they only come in one length, and I have to roll them up because I'm 5'3" but that's okay because hubby likes the way they look with the cuffs rolled up anyway. I have had one pair for a few months now, and he bought me a second pair for Christmas. They are way more comfortable than leather chaps over regular jeans, and they fit great and give me a sense of safety when I'm on my Harley. Biker Granny on 25th Dec 2018
I purchased these in a bigger size, based on all the reviews and website instructions. First pair were WAY too big. Feeling like Goldilocks....I ordered these in my usual size. PERFECT. They're comfortable and don't look like I just climbed off a bike. At 5'4" I'll need to hem them quite a bit (hence the downgrade from 5 stars), and I'm going to add armor pockets. But I'm so glad I got them. knittingfool on 13th Oct 2018
The only thing about these jeans that I don't like is the fact that the inseams are 34". It would be great if we could select the correct length; I'm 5'3" and I have to triple roll the legs so they don't look totally stupid. For the price, I don't think I should have to pay someone to hem them to the correct length. (It is extremely hard to hand-stitch a hem in heavy denim.) Other than not being able to select the appropriate length, I have nothing but praise for the fit and comfort. I have bought the competitor's riding jeans and was not pleased at all; they were not cut for a female's figure and were too low in the rise. I'll recommend Draggin Jeans to anyone looking for a great pair of Kevlar-reinforced riding jeans. Unknown on 17th May 2018
The fit is a bit "bulkier" than I normally purchase, but I think I will be glad I bought them. I haven't really worn them riding as yet. I needed to shorten the first and hope to give them their first rode test this weekend. Rosanna on 13th Sep 2017
I've got to admit that I have a Mom's Jeans figure; by age, a Grandmom's figure. I was pleased to see a style/fit that came to natural waistline. Using the size chart I ordered size 14 matching my size 16 LLBean jeans. When the Draggin Retro fit Jeans arrived I had to return them .....too big ( that's hasn't happened in a long time!). I then ordered the same style in size 12.....Ta Da... perfect fit! Been on my Honda a few times with them; comfy ( 60's and 70's here in New York). I feel a bit safer...ya know....all the gear all the time...like I used to tell my kids...so now I can follow my own advice! Rebecca on 13th Apr 2017
